Revd. Nigel Chapman
Vicar of Filey
Nigel is an ordained Church Army Evangelist whose passion is for community and lively enquiring faith that is expressed in word and action.
After growing up in Bradford and a brief career in Horticulture he joined Church Army a 'Mission focussed Community'. He has lived all over the country from London to Middlesbrough and the Midlands to Cumbria. His work has included being a Homeless Resettlement Officer in a hostel, a Community Worker in a mining village, Lead Officer on a Bus Project in Cumbria and North Yorkshire, and on the team of the York Diocesan Youth Advisers before coming to Filey as Vicar in 2016.
Married to Vivienne they have 3 grown up children and 6 grandchildren. Nigel is a keen photographer and enjoys being active.

Huw is a Self Supporting minister, which means he has a full time job as well as working in our Parish and continuing his training.

Retired Minister who came from inner city Hull. He has a real heart of compassion for those who struggle in life

Retired Head Teacher whose roots run deep in Filey has a particular ministry with the bereaved

Until recently Janice was Spiritual support leader at a local hospice and heads up our Pastoral Support Team
