We have a variety of services suitable for differing ages and church experience, be that reasonably traditional or informal. Generally the informal services are at St John’s. We look forward to welcoming you at any of our weekly services.

There are two new styles of service that have been started recently
A Celtic Service runs every Tuesday in the new chapel within St. Oswald's Church.
It starts at 10:00 and lasts for half an hour.
Daily Prayer
Prayer is central to our life as a Christian community .

There are various organised prayer events which are detailed below, but if you would like to pray for the Parish from your own home then you could use the Church of England Daily Prayer App (see image below), or go to the C of E Daily Prayer web page. There are Apps for your smartphone or tablet, just go to your 'App Store' and search for daily prayer. For more information or use the Google Play link for Android devices or App Store link for Apple devices.

It is also possible to print off both pages of this Morning Prayer At Home leaflet and fold it in to a leaflet style.
On Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 9am we have a Zoom Morning Prayer, using the Church of England App for daily prayer.

On Sunday evening at 6pm we have an evening service of Compline. You are welcome to join us. Simply follow this link to join in.

On Mondays at 09:30am there is an in-person meeting 'Prayers for Outreach and the Church'. Please contact the Church Office (contact details at the foot of the page) if you would like to join this regular prayer meeting.
