Daily Prayer

Prayer is central to our life as a Christian community but while we are in the grip of the Coronavirus we need to maintain this life style at home.

Let's pray together though. At 9am each morning we can pray, using any number of resources, such as Celtic Daily Prayer, Morning Prayer or something else. There are Apps for your smartphone or tablet, just go to your 'App Store' and search for daily prayer. For more information or use the Google Play link for Android devices or App Store link for Apple devices.

It is also possible to print off both pages of this Morning Prayer At Home leaflet and fold it in to a leaflet style.

On The first Monday of the month at 9am there is a Zoom meeting 'Prayer For Filey'

On  Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 9am we have a Zoom Morning Prayer, using the Church of England App for daily prayer.

On Sunday evening at 6pm we have an evening service of prayer that will loosely follow Evening Prayer or Night Prayer, again using the C of E Daily Prayer app. You are welcome to join us. Simply follow this link to join in.

On Mondays at 09:30am at St. John's there is an in-person meeting 'Prayers for Outreach and the Church'.  This starts on 6th September.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people.
